Landform was started by Mark Gregory & Matt Moore in 2003 and comprises two sister companies:

Landform Consultants Ltd - specialising in design, project management and the production of high quality hard & soft landscape installations;

Landform Maintenance Ltd - focusing on the maintenance and improvement of existing gardens & landscapes.

Managing Director - Mark Gregory

Dip Hort

Mark is a twenty-time Gold medal winner at Chelsea Flower Show and has won numerous industry awards for projects in London and the South East. His dynamic approach, energy and experience have given him a reputation for innovation and technical expertise within the landscaping community.

As well as heading-up Landform Mark is incredibly active in the Landscaping and Horticultural industries. He lectures all over the country delivering workshops and seminars for the Society of Garden Designers, BALI and APL and is regularly consulted by other designers and contractors. Mark has been a past board member of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) and has recently been appointed as a Director of the HTA and Chairman of the APL. Mark is a regular RHS Judge and Assessor, and a former member of the Chelsea Gardens Panel.

Commercial Director - Rudi Swanepoel

B.Tech QS, N. Dip Building Science

Rudi is a professional estimator and quantity surveyor who qualified in South-Africa in 1997. For the first few years after qualifying he worked as a professional building QS in South-Africa. In 2001 he started working for a leading commercial landscape contractor in Ireland where he was trained by the company to become a knowledgeable landscape estimator who appreciates the need for ‘value for money’ without compromising on quality.

In 2013, following two years working for another leading landscape firm in UK, Rudi joined Landform as Estimator. He has brought his vast experience in detailed first principle landscape estimating to us, providing accurate tenders and ensuring that our clients and installation crews know exactly what is allowed for before a project starts on site. He became Landform's Commercial Director in 2015, working alongside Managing Director Mark Gregory, on company matters.

At Landform Rudi routinely works on a variety of high-end commercial and domestic projects, working closely with the designers, project managers and clients to ensure a smooth transition from tender stage to final completion of projects. 




Contracts Director - Matt Moore

Working with Mark for over 25 years, Matt shares Mark's business ethics and passion for producing high quality gardens and landscapes for clients & designers. Matt's background is in landscape construction, having worked his way up from a hands-on-role on site to his the position of Contracts Director at Landform. In 2013, Matt left Landform for a sabbatical, although he maintained links by working on a consultancy basis for the company. Matt returned to Landform in 2015 to resume an active role as Contracts Director.

Designer - Catherine MacDonald

BSc Hons, PhD, PG Dip Garden Design

Catherine joined Landform’s design team in 2010 and now coordinates all new design schemes for the company. She also manages the show garden projects for Landform, working closely with the designers & sponsors. Catherine has project managed numerous gold medal winning show gardens and two BALI award winning domestic gardens.

While at Landform, as well as designing many gardens for domestic clients, Catherine has designed two gold medal & best in category winning gardens at Hampton Court Flower Show and co-designed one silver gilt & one silver medal winning garden at Chelsea Flower Show. She also designed three large exhibits for commercial clients at Chelsea Flower Show, two of which won Best Trade Exhibit.

Catherine qualified with distinction in 2006 and was the joint winner of the Society of Garden Designers first Student of the Year Competition in the same year. Catherine has worked for top landscape designers Luciano Giubbilei, Christopher Bradley-Hole & Anthony Paul and so has a rich source of inspiration and experience to draw upon. 


Landscape Architect & H&S - Fran Keith

BA Hons PG Dip Landscape Architecture

Fran has 15 years of experience in landscaping, landscape architecture and landscape conservation.  She has worked with landscape architects, designers and land management groups, both as a designer and project manager. She has a passion for conservation and wildlife and has designed and project managed many projects for conservation bodies and NGO’s.  

Fran joined Landform in 2013 and works closely with the office team to ensure the smooth running of all Landform's domestic and commercial projects. Before joining Landform, Fran worked as a freelance landscape architect for three and a half years, prior to that she worked for a landscape architecture practice.

Maintenance Manager - Alex Marsh

NVQ Hort, PA1/PA6

Alex joined Landform Maintenance in 2003 as a landscape gardener and has worked his way up through the ranks. As well as having his own maintenance round he is now also responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the mobile maintenance teams. His passionate approach and personable manner ensure the success and smooth running of the maintenance business.

Alex’s background is firmly rooted in horticulture having qualified through Merrist Wood and then gone on to work at an herbaceous nursery in a very hands-on role. He then went on to work for Thompson’s Garden Centre where he was Plant Area Manager responsible for ordering & selling plants and advising on horticultural matters as well as managing a team of people.

Office Manager - Kate Griffin

Kate’s main responsibilities at Landform include the efficient running & management of the office administration. She also oversees the company’s social media and company events as well as assisting the directors and managers with a variety of tasks.

Kate joined Landform in November 2012. Prior to that Kate worked as the office manager for a film company based in Soho, London. 

In her spare time Kate enjoys the great outdoors, walking her dog Margo regularly and attending music festivals every summer.


Finance Manager - Patrycja Ekkel

MAAT BA (Hons)
Pat joined Landform in January 2014 to work on bookkeeping, payroll and general accounting. After graduating from university in Poland, she worked as a civil servant and a tutor. Pat moved to England in 2007 and started a new career in accountancy. She has several years of accounting experience gained in small companies and local accounting practices.
In her spare time, Patrycja enjoys watching documentary films, swimming and travelling. She lives in Woking with her husband, son and ginger cat Biscuit.

Contracts Administrator - Lisa Somerville

Lisa joined Landform in March 2016 to help out in the Estimating Department and the Contracts Department.  Prior to that she worked in a Pharmacy and looked after her son who is now at University.  She feels it is not a massive change in career path and has just gone from looking after the general public and her son, to looking after Rudi and Matt in the office.

Lisa loves to travel and experience different countries and cultures, catching up with friends, long walks, and is not scared of a challenge or of change.

Assistant Design & Project Manager - Rhiannon Williams

BSc Landscape Architecture and Ecology
Rhiannon joined Landform in 2014 as part of her year out placement for her University Degree. She has previously worked with the company on Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Show Gardens whilst studying. She works closely with Catherine on design and project management as well as helping Rudi and Fran with pricing and material sourcing.
Rhiannon is returning to Sheffield University this September to undertake her Masters in Landscape Architecture and will return to Landform after she graduates in June 2016.
In her spare time she likes to bake, often bringing in her new bakes to test on the office.
